I had about 40 roses.

I caught this guy...
Then i dropped my camera after this picture and it broke :(
Why Hello!

Inspired after watching the film Super Size Me, I felt the need to create some public art dealing with awareness with the fast food industry. Thus, I eventually came up with the idea, which involved stealing some re-view car mirrors (from abandon cars, of course), painting with acrylic paints and changing the words "closer" to "fatter".

I first thought of putting "bigger" however, from a far distance, if anyone sees "fatter" in white acrylic (which stands out from the rest of the black text), the person would be curious and would look closely. Then hopefully, some reaction would be expressed. I also used strong adhessive super glue so it would be so difficult to get it off.

Overall, as fast food related trials takes place all over the country, and the outrage over the caloric content in breakfast sandwiches comes to head, I felt the need to step back and observe how the general public would react to my poking fun at the entire industry. More than just a prank, this was part social commentary, part unscientific experiment on our nation's appetite, and whether ridicule can be used as an effective deterrant to junk food.
We also went to Burger King

I taped fake, red roses around CalArts with "Smell Me" tags.
I sprayed each with lavender-scented Fabreeze hehe
